ABOUT NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY:
The National Honor Society, or NHS, is a nationwide organization in the United States and consists of many chapters in high schools. Selection is based on four criteria: service, leadership, scholarship and character. The NHS requires some sort of service to the community, school, or other organizations.
The object of this chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in pupils of St. Elizabeth High School.
