7th grade Research Class has been very creative lately. They choose a children’s book and decorated pumpkins to represent one of the book characters. Once they completed that task they visited elementary classrooms to read the book to the students and show off their character pumpkins. Elementary students love having visitors in their classroom.

Red Ribbon Week is October 24-27. There will be dress up days for our students and staff. During next week activities this will bring awareness about drug use and how each one of us can stand up and say NO to drugs!! This event is sponsored by SADD.

Young men and women who exhibit high standards of leadership, character, scholarship and citizenship are considered for participation in Boys State and Girls State. Students are required to participate in the full eight-day program. Selection qualifications include: must be between the ages of 15 and 19 by June 24, 2023 must have successfully completed their junior year in a Missouri high school See attached flyer for more information. If you are interested, please let me know and I will help you apply. This program is fully paid for by our local American Legion Post 545.
