JH "B" Hornets fall to Bland, 21-10.

JH "B" Lady Hornets couldn't push past Bland. They lose, 16-9.

It was a nail biter end to the JH Lady Hornets game against Bland. We weren't able to get a final shot and lose, 30-28.

Preschool is working really hard on learning letters of their name!

Lots of good books this week! We even have some 2nd graders creating their own "I Survived" graphic novel!

Seeing if our 8th graders remember the keyboard of a computer!

We always love hearing kids say math is fun! 1st graders were practicing doubles and addition with clipboards, dry erase markers, and a loud chant for the person in the middle of the circle trying to solve the math problems! Even Mrs. Musick ended up in the middle of the circle solving math problems and racing the timer!

Please join our National Honor Society in raising money and bringing awareness to Heart Health. This fall NHS will be selling t-shirts in order to raise funds to donate to a local community member who has recently had a major heart surgery. All proceeds will go directly to the family of Krista Kesel. Shirts are $15 and need to be ordered by September 23rd. Our fundraiser softball game will be hosted on October 6th against Eugene.

Help Needed: We are in need of a group of scoreboards operators to help this year in basketball. This is scoreboard only, not clock. If you would be interested in helping or learning more, please reach out to AD Shelia Heckemeyer.

JH Hornets follow suit and finish the night with another win at Tuscumbia, 57-37! It was a great night for our JH teams!

JH Lady Hornets got their second win of the night over Tuscumbia, 34-18!

The Lady Hornets scored first, but then their bats went silent. It was knotted 1-1 until the 5th inning, then the Lady Comets plated 3 to take the 4-1 victory. The Lady Hornet JV team scored 4 in the third to take the 5- 3 victory.

JH "B" Lady Hornets came to Tuscumbia fired up! Defense was on point and the shooting was on! They beat Tuscumbia, 26-9!

Celebrating St. E History!

We are updating the touchscreen display in our gym hallway with several new celebrations of St. Elizabeth’s storied history. To start, we are adding recognition for all state athletes, conference championships, 1,000-point scorers, and other individual honors.

To accomplish this, we have scoured old yearbooks, newspaper archives, websites, and other sources. However, with such a rich history, we are sure we may have missed a few things!

Please take a few minutes to look over the new site at the link below. If you see something we need to add, please email Mr. Hoecker at jhoecker@ste.k12.mo.us with the accomplishment as well as some form of confirmation (newspaper clipping, letterman's jacket patch, yearbook, etc.). We will review the information and get verified accomplishments added to the board.

We are excited to celebrate the many accomplishments of our students, past and present, and we appreciate your help in making sure we get it right!

After a tight first 4 innings, baseball pulls away from Prairie Home to win 13-2 in 6 innings.
