8th grade met with Mrs. Wankum this week to start thinking about their high school path and class schedule.
Physical game in the Lion's Den tonight. But, the Hornets pick up another Show-Me Central victory. They defeat the Tuscumbia Lions, 67-55.
The Lady Hornets get the win on the first game of the night, they beat the Lady Lions 63-26.
Another great senior lunch with the Principal and Counselor! This group of seniors had great feedback about their Eldon Career Center experience, Flex Work Program, and are excited for future work and/or school plans!

Both the Hornets and Lady Hornets head to Tuscumbia tonight to take on the Lions in a Show-Me Central conference match-up.
It is Veteran's Recognition night. If you are active, or retired, military...tell them at the door and you will get in free.
The Lady Hornets played from behind most of the game...but the got a lead late, and held on to defeat the Fatima Lady Comets, 57-56.
The JV Lady Hornets just couldn't find the bottom of the net tonight. The JV Lady Comets beat the Lady Hornets, 47-28.

The Lady Hornets travel to Westphalia tonight to take on the Lady Comets. There will be a full JV game followed by Varsity. Start time is 6:00.
Archery shot at home this weekend. Camilla Kuester qualified Tier 2 State and Rosemary Scheulen qualified Tier 3 State.

Some members of the High School Scholar Bowl Team attended a Freshmen and Sophomore only tournament at Southern Boone today. They placed third out of sixteen teams in the Small School Division. Harper Kemna made the All Tournament Team.

It was a back-and-forth game the entire evening. The Hornets hit some key free throws down the stretch to seal the victory, 55-47.
In a low scoring, and very physical game, the Hornets come from behind and take the victory, 44-38.

It's the Hornets turn to travel to Vienna tonight. They will take on the Eagles, start time is 6:00. There will be a full JV game followed by Varsity.
Remember to leave about 10-15 minutes early because of the detour at Hwy 42.
