Today, SADD hosted the Mock Car Crash for our high school students and Tuscumbia's high school students. Mock car crashes are hard to watch and puts it into perspective when students act out accident scenes. They help educate our students on how quickly accidents can happen and reinforce the importance of making good, safe decisions. It also helps show the process safety personnel take during an accident.
Thank you to all of the students who participated, Mandy Gibson and David Visser for coordinating our students, as well as the Miller County Sheriff’s Department, Miller County Ambulance District, and the St. Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Department. We'd also like to thank Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home. We are grateful for your time and service today and everyday.
