Yesterday, there was only one that they named Chicken Nugget.
This morning, we couldn't tell which was Chicken Nugget because almost all the eggs had hatched! 🐣










Mr. Kempker is retiring at the end of June, but we would like to celebrate him with our students! Here are some dress up days to celebrate him for next week! We also have some student activities planned for him as well to go with our themed days!

Friendly reminder that tomorrow SCOP is hosting the Night at the Park from 5:00-7:00!

This weekend begins youth season and we are all ready to start receiving turkey pictures during the entire turkey season! You can send pictures to doug@ste.k12.mo.us or amusick@ste.k12.mo.us.
We will have ball caps for each student who submits a photo.
Our grand prize winners will be in the category of Best Picture. So get creative and happy hunting! 🦃

**SPORTS TODAY**
The Hornet Baseball team competes in the Missouri River Festival today and tomorrow. Today's game is against Helias...game time is 5:00, at JC high school.

Juniors held a Mock Election on Tuesday. We heard from two candidates with a commercial, speech, and held polling booths for our voters in grades 6-12. After the votes were counted Jace won the Electoral and Popular vote. Thank you Jace, Harrison, Mrs. McDonnell, and our Juniors for the fun learning experience! 🗳️

CHAMPIONSHIP RECOGNITION DAY
The State Champ 2025 Baseball, this year's Softball, and Girls Basketball teams will be recognized before the Springfield Cardinal game tonight. The program is scheduled for approx. 6:15. If you already have a ticket, you may use any gate to enter.
