4th grade students has been learning about rabbits. Rachel was able to bring in her rabbits from home. Please meet Chicken Nugget, Cookie Dough, Cooper, Floppy and Whiskers. I think they received lots of love and snuggles.
Top of 7...Addi Doerhoff beats out a slap bunt, Dani Heckemeyer lines it over the shortstop, Sarah Backes comes in to run for Dani...Reagan Wobbe hits a high-hopper on the infield, and beats it out. Ella Lucas hits a bullet to the short stop, it bounces off her and Addi and Sarah, who ran for Dani, score. A wild pitch brings Reagan home. In the bottom of the 7th, the First Lady Wildcats pops out to Olivia Oligschlaeger. The next 2 single...the next one flies out to right...and Dani STRIKES OUT their final batter. The Lady Hornets win another thriller, 4-3, over the Lady Wildcats of New Bloomfield!!
The Lady Hornets struck first, scoring a run in the first inning. But the New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats used timely hits in the third to plate 3 runs. After three complete, the Lady Wildcats lead, 3-1.
Softball Lady Hornets travel to New Bloomfield for a varsity-only, Show-Me conference matchup. Start time is 5:00.

The JV Lady Hornets defeated the JV Lady Lions tonight 11-8. Way to go ladies!
The Lady Hornets make it a quick game. They defeated the Crocker Lady Lions, 19-0, in 3 innings.
The Lady Hornets are in Crocker tonight, taking on the Lady Lions. The battery tonight is Vanessa Heckemeyer and Charli Duemmel. After 2 complete innings the Lady Hornets lead the Lady Lions, 10-0.
The Hornets make short work of the Bulldogs this evening. Final score of 10-0.
The JH Lady Hornets gave it their best shot, but came up short. They lost, 33-18, to the JH Dixon Lady Bulldogs. Good tournament for them, a 2nd place finish.

The JH Boys basketball team defeats the JH Richland Bears, 48-31, for 3rd place. Way to go boys!!

The JH Lady Hornets play for the Championship of the Richland tournament tomorrow night at 5:30. They beat the JH Iberia Lady Rangers, 24-17 tonight.
The Softball Lady Hornets have had a great day! In their 3rd, and final, game of the day they defeated the Camdenton Lady Lakers, 6-1.
