Hornets will be in the Vienna Baseball Tournament on September 22-23. First round game is Friday afternoon at 3:30 vs the Vienna Eagles.

September 22-23 the Lady Hornets are in the California Turf War Tournament. First round game is Friday evening at 4:30 vs the Eldon Lady Mustangs.

The Hornets advance to the championship of the AA Baseball Bash by defeating New Bloomfield 15-4. They will play either Vienna or Eugene at 2:00 tomorrow at Eugene.










The Hornets win it in five tonight. Winners over Clopton 14-0. Next up is New Bloomfield at 8:00.






The JV Lady Hornets play to a 2-2 tie against the JV Lady Redbirds of East Carter.









The baseball Hornets jump to an early 10-0 lead after 2 full innings over Clopton.



Mrs. Lackman will be having an AR Night on Wednesday, September 20. The library will be open for students to read and take an AR test from 3-5pm.

The Lady Redbirds threaten in the top of the seventh, but the Lady Hornets defense holds on. They beat East Carter, 6-2.






Lady Hornets add 2 runs in the bottom of the 4th to extend their lead. The Lady Redbirds pushed 1 run across the dish in the top of the 5th. Starting the top of the 6th and the Lady Hornets lead 6-2.







Lady Hornets are taking on the East Carter Lady Redbirds in Salem, MO. Both teams scored one run in the first. But, the Lady Hornets woke up the bats and plates 3 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning. They now lead 4-1.





Baseball Hornets are in the AA Bash Tournament this week. They play tonight at 6 and 8. With bracket play tomorrow. Here is the schedule.

The Lady Hornets take on the East Carter Lady Redbirds tonight. The game will start at 4:30, Varsity and JV will play. The game will be played in Salem, MO, at the community park. The address is: 1200 W. Rolla Rd, Salem, MO. Let's Go Lady Hornets!!

The 5th grade attended the Steam Engine Show in Boonville last Friday. They had some beautiful weather to enjoy the festivities. The students had a great time there. Thank you Joan for always inviting us.










4th grade students has been learning about rabbits. Rachel was able to bring in her rabbits from home. Please meet Chicken Nugget, Cookie Dough, Cooper, Floppy and Whiskers. I think they received lots of love and snuggles.








Top of 7...Addi Doerhoff beats out a slap bunt, Dani Heckemeyer lines it over the shortstop, Sarah Backes comes in to run for Dani...Reagan Wobbe hits a high-hopper on the infield, and beats it out. Ella Lucas hits a bullet to the short stop, it bounces off her and Addi and Sarah, who ran for Dani, score. A wild pitch brings Reagan home. In the bottom of the 7th, the First Lady Wildcats pops out to Olivia Oligschlaeger. The next 2 single...the next one flies out to right...and Dani STRIKES OUT their final batter. The Lady Hornets win another thriller, 4-3, over the Lady Wildcats of New Bloomfield!!









The Lady Hornets struck first, scoring a run in the first inning. But the New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats used timely hits in the third to plate 3 runs. After three complete, the Lady Wildcats lead, 3-1.





Softball Lady Hornets travel to New Bloomfield for a varsity-only, Show-Me conference matchup. Start time is 5:00.
