Time for the varsity game…Let’s Go Hornets!!

The JV Lady Comets continued the pressure in the 2nd half. They beat the JV Lady Hornets, 43-10.

Battle of the Books competition is tonight at 5pm at St.  Elizabeth.   These students have read books that belongs to the Truman selection and will be competing against Eldon, Tuscumbia and Vienna this evening.  Good luck St. Elizabeth! 

The Lady Hornets will travel to Fatima tonight.  Full JV girls followed by Varsity girls.  Game time is now 5:00pm.   

It’s a 74-25 conference win for the Hornets  over the Chamois Pirates.  




The Hornets are having a great night shooting against conference foe Chamois.   At the half, 44-16.  




8th Graders finished up their unit on ecosystems with a dissection lab of an owl pellet. Each student reconstructed the remains of organisms found in each pellet to analyze the owls’ diet and place in the food web. 




Varsity Boys plays tonight at home at 6pm against Chamois Pirates.  

Congratulations to our Deer Season Contest winners.  Emmett and Morgan won the Biggest Buck contest.  Pearl won the Best Picture.   Great job to all of our hunters and thank you for sharing your pictures with us.  


It was not the final result we awanted, but the Lady Hornets had a good week but fell to Class 3, 7th ranked Fair Grove Lady Eagles.   Keep working hard ladies!

The Lady Hornets played hard but the Fair Grove aggressive defense was just to much.   The Lady Hornets finish the week with a second place finish in the Osage Tournament.  Final score, 66-42.




The Fair Grove defense is tough.   It’s halftime here in Osage, and the Lady Hornets trail by nine.   Let’s go Lady Hornets.




Tip-off has started the championship of the Osage tournament.  ThenLady Hornets take on the Fair Grove Eagles.

Lady Hornets are playing in the Championship game at the Osage Tournament tonight at 7pm.  The Lady Hornets will play Fair Grove.  Let’s pack the stand in black and gold and cheer for our Lady Hornets! 🖤💛🐝

Congratulations to the Hornets.   Iberia tournament Champions!

The Rangers made it close!   The Hornets hold on to win the Iberia Championship, 62-56.




Archery shot at their first tournament of the season tonight at Fatima and it was a great first night.  Abram Wankum qualified Tier 2 State in Elementary boys. Tyler Wieberg and Duncan McDonnell qualified Tier 3 State in Middle School boys.
