Full day at Missouri S&T - admissions presentation and campus tour, and then tours of the Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering department, the Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering department, and the History Department. They got to see the nuclear reactor, the hypersonic wind tunnel, KUKA robotics lab, and meet with the Steel Bridge & Concrete Canoe team and the Satellite Research team!

Our senior basketball players donated their canned goods brought in from the canned good scrimmage to Helping Hands today! Thank you to all who donated!

This month, we had more students and teachers sign up to volunteer their time at Helping Hands to assist with the Food Pantry. We love to see our students and staff giving back to our community! Today, Eli Kemna signed to commit to continue his baseball career at Missouri Southern State in Joplin! We are proud of him and his accomplishments and wish him the best in his future endeavors!

It was a great day to celebrate our Veterans and their families! We appreciate your service to our country and our community! It was an honor to host you! Thank you Blaine Luetkemeyer for being our guest speaker. Thank you Liz and Angela for the great breakfast you provided for our Veterans and their families. Thank you American Legion Post 545 for the service at the Veterans Memorial. Thank you Mrs. Holtmeyer and her Leadership and Service class for setting up and preparing the ceremony. 4th grade learned about adaptations. Students laid on the floor and everyone closed their eyes with their hands down at their sides. Spiders depend on their other senses because they have poor eyesight. Mrs. Malmberg walked around the room and asked that if they thought she stopped near them to raise a hand. They had to listen and feel the floor to see if she was near instead of using eyesight! 🕷️
