Double BoxTops: For this week only, until September 25, you can earn double BoxTops each time you scan a receipt with a BoxTops eligible item. Not interested in getting the app, send the receipt to school with directions for it to be given to Mrs. Chipman. If you want the receipt back, note that as well.

8th Grade Life Science learned the parts of a microscope and investigated plant cells under different magnifications.
Update: Lady Hornets softball tournament at Versailles/California, game times have changed.
It’s a sweep. JV boys win the second game by a score of 11-8. Great job boys.
The Hornet “A” team got a big win tonight over the Richland Bears, 44-17!
The JV game goes to the Lady Rangers this evening, 9-2.
JV Lady Hornets are on the field. The game is all tied up 2-2 in the bottom of the 2nd inning.
The Lady Hornets couldn’t get the ball through the hoop. The Lady Bears get the win, 29-20.
Hornets come out on top tonight vs. the Wildcats by a score of 10-2. Next up is the Vienna Classic on Friday and Saturday.
The Lady Bears put together a good quarter, and take the lead at the end of the 3rd they lead the Lady Hornets, 20-16.
The Lady Rangers made the bottom of the 7th inning interesting but the Lady Hornets hold strong and get the WIN ! Final score Lady Hornets 6-4. Nice game girls!
Lady Hornets pick up the offense in the 2nd quarter. They now lead the Lady Bears, 16-13.
Time for the “A” girls to play the Richland Lady Bears. After one quarter they lead, 9-5.
The Hornets bats come to life as they take a 8-2 lead. Going to the top of the 4.
“B” boys get the 2-quarter win. They defeated the Richland Bears, 32-0.
“B” Hornets take the court now. After one quarter they lead the Richland Bears, 14-0.
Lady Hornets are leading the Iberia Lady Rangers, 3-0 after 3 complete innings of play.
We are excited to have Dawn and Kacie from Heartland Library back at school. They have student activities planned throughout the day and they read books to the classes.
In art class, Kindergarten uses “marker juice” to prep a background for the fall apples they made with Dawn from Heartland Library.
“B” Lady Hornets take it to the Lady Bears. Final score, 32-0. Way to go ladies!
