8th grade Life Science have recently began their study of cells. They have been learning the importance and function of each organelle inside the cell. This week they have been planning a model of an animal or plant cell, and today they were able to construct them (and enjoy them) food style!
It was a back and forth game between the JH Hornets and Vienna. Our Hornets hold the lead to win the game 42-40!
The Hornets suffer the first loss of the season tonight falling to New Bloomfield, 8-6 in 8 innings. Next up is Calvary Lutheran at home on Thursday.
It was a hard fought effort till the end. JH Lady Hornets lose to Vienna, 24-22.
JH "B" Boys hold the lead to win over Vienna, 16-11!
JH "B" Lady Hornets came out ready to play! They beat Vienna 22-4!
Due to not enough teams, the Junior Class will be canceling their sand volleyball tournament fundraiser that was going to be October 12th. They will be coming up with a new fundraiser idea for prom.
SOFTBALL IS CANCELLED FOR TONIGHT - October 1st. The game will not be rescheduled.

The Hornets' shooting may have cooled a bit, but they kept a good lead the whole second half. The beat the Jamestown Eagles, 44-16.
Last game of the night, and it's a good one for the Hornets! They are taking care of business. Halfway through the game they are up 23-8! Keep it up Boys!!
It was a back-n-forth second half, but the Lady Hornets prevailed. They beat the Lady Eagles, 25-18.
The Lady Hornets started the game on an 8-0 run...but then went ice cold. At the half they lead the Lady Eagles, 10-9.
The B Hornets came out firing, and never quit. They defeated the Jamestown Eagles, 27-6. Way to go Hornets!
The B Lady Hornets jumped out to a 9-0 lead, and held on for the 11-5 win!
