
Fun Friday, with Science! 8th grade practiced genetic engineering and extracted DNA from strawberries. They then got to share the excitement and teach the lab process to the little scientists of 1st grade.










Basketball season may be over but post season awards continue.

In the girls side, congratulations to Reagan Wobbe for being named district player of the year. Joining her on the all district team is Ella Lucas.

The Hornets Elementary Knowledge bowl competed yesterday at Lincoln University. The Hornets finished in third place overall. Our third grade were individual champions, while the fourth grade finished in second place. Congratulations to everyone. A special thank you to our coaches and all of the amazing fans who came to support our students.

Are your children safe online? Do you know who your child is communicating with on social media?
Please join us this Sunday evening at 6:00 in the school gymnasium for this informational presentation. Stacey Lareau, from The Stop Trafficking Project, will discuss how to educate and empower children to be safer online.
Age-appropriate presentations will then be given to students on Monday, March 4, during school.

The final Show-Me Conference Scholar Bowl championship was held at St. E tonight. Our Hornets finished in 4th place. The Eugene Eagles finished in 1st, South Callaway Bulldogs 2nd, and Fatima Comets 3rd. Congratulations to all the teams!





Mark Twain Battle of the Books winners! First St. Elizabeth team to win the traveling Mark Twain book trophy!



Elementary placed 3rd at the Blair Oaks Tournament last weekend and brought home a plaque. Averi Gilpin placed 1st in Elementary Girls and Abram Wankum placed 3rd in Middle School Boys.



A crazy game where we can't seem to keep our hands on the ball. But the shots started to fall halfway through the 2nd quarter. The Hornets take a 24-17 lead into the locker room.
