The JV Hornets continued with their tough defense, and made shots when it counted. They defeated the JV Comets, 54-47!!
The JV Hornets are giving the JV Fatima Comets all they can handle. Tough defense by both teams. At the half the JV Comets hold the lead, 28-27.

It's HOMECOMING!! The Hornets are taking on the Fatima Comets, start time 6:00. Come out support your Hornets and see who the next king and queen will be! Coronation will be between games.
Today is the last dress-up competition for our high school students. Please choose your favorite dressed couple and your favorite group picture. Do you want anything? Voting ends today today at 3 p.m. to allow for tabulation of points for the Spirit Stick to be awarded before the varsity game.
The 4th quarter was a battle!! The Lady Hornets were within 2 with 3:41 left in the game, but they could not get over jump. The Southern Boone Lady Eagles prevail with a 49-45 victory over the Lady Hornets.
Both teams had a very slow start...the game was tied 5-5 after the 1st quarter. Things finally started to fall. The Lady Eagles of Southern Boone outscored our Lady Hornets 16-11 in the 2nd quarter, and now hold a 21-16 lead.
Today will be a tough one. Today was "theme day" and we had some good ones. Please vote for your favorite.

The Hornets roll to the easy victory tonight over the Lions. The final score was 72 - 49.
At the half the Varsity Hornets lead the Lions of Calvary, 39-26. Keep it up boys!
It was a nail-biter to the end. Lady Hornets head a 38-37 lead with less than a minute to play...neither team could score. The Lady Cavaliers had a couple close shots at the end, but the Lady Hornets prevailed! Final score 38-37, Lady Hornets!
Tonight we recognize our three senior basketball boys. Trent Bax, Isaac, Green, and Carter Otto. Thank you for everything you have given us over the past four years.
