6th Grade Science finished off their topic over the atmosphere with Meteorology Reports. Students analyzed the weather forecasts for a destination they wished to travel to, calculated the mean, median, mode for temperatures, and presented their weather report TV style!!
It was a crazy 2nd half, but the Lady Hornets end up prevailing, 27-15, over the Bland Lady Bears

We have a right game here. At the half, the Lady Hornets hold a small lead over the Lady Bears, 15-8.
6th inning, the Lady Pirates gets a baserunner at first base and that is all.
💛🖤🐝Allie hits a SOLO Homerun to start the inning for the Lady Hornets and Reagan follows it up with a triple. Dani is safe at first and Reagan scores. Ella hits it to the second baseman and they throw Dani out at first. Charlie it’s a blooper to the second baseman and she fumbles it but manages to throw Ella out at second. Chloe is battling at the plate and Charlie steals second. Chloe ground out to the second baseman. Lady Hornets now lead 9-5.
Bottom of the 5th inning for the Lady Hornets, not much action this inning. Lady Hornets still hold the lead 7-5.
The "A" girls take the court now to challenge the Lady Bears.
Lady Pirates has a runner of first, second batter strikes out. The next batter hits one to Reagan and she gets the lead runner at second. With runner on first the next batter pops out to Addi in right field. 3 outs..Nice inning girls!
Bottom of the 4th inning….Reagan hits one back to the pitcher and is out at first. Dani singles to the centerfield to get this inning started for the Lady Hornets. Ella flies out to the right fielder. Charlie is battling with a full count and gets ball 4. Runner on first and second for the Lady Hornets. Chloe hits it hard to the second baseman but she is able to make the catch. Lady Hornets lead 7-5.
The "B" Lady Hornets make easy work of the Bland Lady Bears. They win, 16-5!
Riley strikes out the Lady Pirates first and second batter of the inning. The third batter for lucky with a walk an the fourth batter is thrown out at 1st by Olivia. Lady Hornets hold the Lady Pirates that inning.
Bottom of the third inning and Riley starts it off with a single, Lucy comes in to run bases. Olivia flys out to the left fielder for our first out. Addi has a sacrificed bunt to move Lucy to 2nd base. Allie ground out to the second baseman to end the inning. Lady Hornets lead 7-5.
Lady Pirates score 4 runs, so there is a pitching change for the Lady Hornets. Riley is now on the mound for the Lady Hornets. Lady Pirates score 1 more before the Lady Hornets could end the inning. Lady Hornets still hold a 7-5 lead. Let’s go girls!
The "B" Lady Hornets are playing some tough defense...they lead the Lady Bears 12-0, at halftime.
Lady Pirates go down 1-2-3 in the top of 2nd inning. Bottom of the 2nd inning, Vanessa starts off with a walk. Olivia is battling at the plate and she smokes one to earn a double and to score Vanessa. Top of the line up for the Lady Hornets. Addi hits and gets a triple, scoring Olivia. Allie hits one to the fence for a double, scoring Allie. Reagan single to centerfield. Dani goes down swinging for the 1st out of the inning. Reagan steal 2nd on the first pitch to Ella. Ella hits one to shortstop but the first baseman can’t handle it. Ella is safe at first and Reagan is at third. Charlie pops it up to the 2nd baseman. Chloe is up with runners on the corners. Ella steals 2nd and then Chloe goes down swinging. Lady Hornets have a 7-0 lead after 2 complete innings of play.

1st inning-Lady Hornets hold the Norwood Lady Pirates scoreless. For the Lady Hornets, Addi goes down swinging, Allie is walked and steals second on the first pitch. Reagan hits a double to score Allie. Dani takes ball 4, runners on 1st and 2nd. Ella hits to shortstop and is thrown out at 1st but she moves the runners to 2nd and 3rd base. 2 outs with Charlie up to bat and she hits a double to centerfield and both runners score. Charlie takes 3rd base and Chloe grounds out to the 2nd baseman. Lady Hornets lead 3-0.
