Open House is TONIGHT, August 17th from 6:00-7:30..First stop will be in the gym to pick up family packets, cookies and a photo opportunity.
JH/HS class schedules will be in the family packet. If students need to adjust their schedule, Mrs. Wankum will be in her office.

👩⚕️Nurse Candace will be in her office. Please stop by if your child has a health condition. This way we can ensure the nurse has the most update to date information on your child so when can provide the best care.
👩🏫🧑🏫Visit your teacher and classrooms. The teachers are excited to meet and greet their new students!
⭐️ Mr. Kempker and Mrs. Burrows will be available for any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing everyone this evening.


Our staff is back in action for this school year. Staff participated in meetings, a team building activity and lots of laughs. It was a great day to be a Hornet! 💛🖤

Athletics/Activities Rules Meeting Tonight!
Meeting for all student-athletes grades 7-12 interested in MSHSAA sports or school activities for the 2023-24 school year.
Sunday, Aug. 6 - at 6:30pm in Cafeteria
Monday, Aug 7 - HS Fall sports practices begin.
Monday, Aug. 14 - JH Fall sports practices begin.


Reminder - Mandatory Parent-Athlete meeting will be held Sunday, August 6th, at 6:30 pm. This is for all athletes in ALL sports, and extracurricular activities/clubs.

Heartland Library working on a new project and they need your recipes! If you would like to submit a recipe please send it to hrlspublic@gmail.com or you can drop a copy of the recipe off at your local library branch.


The gym, cafeteria and fitness center will be closed July 21-August 6. We will be refinishing the floors in the gym, cafeteria, lockerooms, hallways and cleaning/maintenance in the fitness center. It will be reopened on August 7th.

Mark your calendars - July 25th -- FREE sports physicals for all St. E athletes. Dr. Craig Luetkemeyer will be at school from 8:00-3:30. More info coming later.


It's always a good day to visit the Missouri State Capital to attend the Super Bowl Lombardi trophy tour. To their surprise, while they were waiting to view the trophy, Governor Parson stopped and asked if he could take a picture with them. They are some lucky boys!

Baseball State Champion t-shirts are in! They may be picked up from 8-10 this morning in the cafeteria, and from 5-6 pm at the main entrance to the school.
