
Tomorrow is the last day of Summer School. Lots of fun activities and water activities are planned. Students can wear their swimsuits under their clothes or coverups to school and bring a towel. Regular Sunscreen will be provided.


1st grade will be having a Lemonade Stand at the corner of the church pavilion on Friday, June 16 from 12:30-1:30.
🍋Lemonade will be $1. Swing by for a delicious cup of lemonade!

June 15 Fieldtrip: 4th-8th grade will go to the MU Farm Tour and eat lunch there. Then go to the Community Park in Jeff City. Students will need to bring a water bottle, wear appropriate clothing for the splash pad at the park (recommend t-shirt and athletic shorts), and a towel.

Water Balloon Toss was the group activity for the day! The students enjoyed the nice weather for this activity.











Roscoes Ice Cream Truck will be at the St. Elizabeth school for our summer school students tomorrow. (Enrolled Summer School students do not need to send money.)
If the community would like to purchase from the ice cream truck it will be in-front if the school from 12:15-12:30(ish).

The Flaming Marshmallows won the Turtle Race with their turtle, Scooter!


5th grade created marble runs. They had to consider gravitational to kinetic energy conversions to ensure their marble could make it all the way through their run.

REMINDER - HS and JH Track Awards will be held in the cafeteria on Sunday, June 11th, at 6:30 pm.


Another field trip is in the books. Yesterday the older students took a tour of the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Eldon. They were able to identify types of bacteria under the microscopes that are used to break down solid wastes, and tour filtration systems that clean the water so it can be returned to the creeks. Then they cooled off at the Eldon Pool.

7th and 8th graders have been discussing the engineering process and designed bottle rockets this week at summer school. Lift off was successful!











Rachel from Missouri Conservation Department presents to our students at Summer School. She presented on different types of animals and showed them feathers, wings, animal furs and a SNAKE 🐍! Tucker was picked to help with the presentation. Great job!










The 6th grade class made individual Rockets to fly in the gym. The rockets all flew but some went farther than others.
