
DARE students made their DARE Pledge! DARE graduation is March 18th at 1:15 in the cafeteria.


Summer school forms were due today, but with the busy week, we are extending the deadline to Monday 3/10. If you didn't get your forms turned in this week, please do so by Monday. Just a reminder that checks will be held and deposited after April 1st.

**VENUE CHANGE**
The Boys' Quarterfinal game Friday night will be played at Helias HS now. Start time is 6:00 pm. All tickets will have to be bought on MSHSAA's website.

The Lady Hornets continue to roll. They beat the Northwest Hughesville Lady Mustangs, 62-29. They will travel for their Quarterfinal game. Details to come soon.










The Lady Mustangs scored the first bucket of the game...but the Lady Hornets finished the quarter on a 17-0 run. The scoring continued on the 2nd quarter, and the Lady Hornets now lead 36-12 at the half.

The Lady Hornets take on the Northwest Hughesville Lady Mustangs in Sectional play tonight at Eldon gym, game time 6:00 pm. Wear white, or the gray district champ t-shirts. We will have the 2 halves as you walk into the gym. Let's fill the stands and support our Lady Hornets!


The Elementary Archery Team placed 2nd at Blair Oaks. Congratulations to Henry Wilde for taking first in the Elementary Boys Division.



The Hornets made it interesting in the 2nd half. They were up 11 at a couple different times. With less than 2 minutes, the Bearcats started fouling and we couldn't hit free throws. Then the Bearcats would go down and hit a 3. But, the Hornets prevailed...they won 54-48.





Battle of the Books was this evening. The Book Besties won!!! It was an up and down battle but we came on top with a score of 91-90!!



The Hornets spotted the Cairo Bearcats 8 points to start the game. Their defense stepped up, and the shots started to fall. At the half, the Hornets take a 24-18 lead into the locker room.

Summer school paperwork is going home TODAY with the youngest in each family and/or all 8th and 9th grade students. Students currently enrolled in PK-7th grade may attend summer school full time. Students in grades 8-9 are invited to attend summer school for Driver's Education and/or as a classroom aide. Details can be found on facebook & the website. Enrollment forms & payment are due FRIDAY, 3/7. Checks will be held and deposited after April 1st.






CONGRATULATIONS to the Lady Hornet Softball team. These ladies made Academic All-State...and finished in the Top 10 of GPAs for Class 1..:.proud to be a Hornet!! Sarah Backes qualified, but left off the list.

1. ALL tickets have to be purchased online. NO cash will be taken at the gate.

Archery shot their last “regular season shoot” at Vienna yesterday. Nicholas Wieberg qualified Tier 2 State. Preston Plassmeyer and Brennan Doerhoff moved up to Tier 2. Kane Kemna shot another 50. We’d like to give special recognition to Senior Lilly Bax. This was her last shoot. We will miss you next year, Lilly!
