It was a back and forth battle between our JV Hornets and Vienna in the first round of the Dixon Tournament. We were tied 48-48 and then Vienna hit a 3 at the buzzer to win, 51-48. They will play Wednesday at 4:00.
SCOP is hosting a free movie night on Friday from 6:30-8:00! We hope to see you there!

You know you have a good thing going when a group of students come up to you and ask "Is there a group for Hornet Friday today?" When my reply was no, they eagerly volunteered! They wanted to make sure there was a group to greet kids as they entered this morning!
Another physical half, but the Lady Hornets persevered with a 58-55 win. They will play for the championship on Saturday at 6pm.
It's been a very physical half. Reagan Wobbe's 3 at the buzzer, helped the Lady Hornets go on a 12-0 run to get to halftime. They head to the locker room with a 37-28 lead.
**Thursday Night Basketball**
Both the Lady Hornets and Hornets are back in action at the Eugene tournament tonight. The Lady Hornets take on the Russellville Lady Indians at 4 PM. The Hornets take on the Eugene Eagles at 7 PM. Here's the link to watch the games:
8th grade technology class made cards for Kindergarten and then helped them with their Santa letters! 🎅🏻

6th grade science wrapped up their unit with a build of volcanoes— limited to household materials and a race against the clock, it made for a fun and chaotic class period. All groups had a successful eruption!!! 🌋

The Lady Hornets made quick work of the Mack's Creek Lady Pirates. They take the opening round game, 73-15. Their next game will be Thursday, at 4pm.
The Eugene Tournament games WILL be played tonight. Our Lady Hornets take on the Macks Creek Lady Pirates at 5:00. Their game will be played in the elementary gym.
Must have been the snow shirts worn by some staff and a snowman dance by first grade to make it snow harder that caused our early out. ❄️ ⛄️
