**SPORTS UPDATE** Due to sickness on our girls basketball team, we are cancelling their game with Calvary tomorrow night, 1-31. The boys WILL still play, 1/2 JV and full Varsity tomorrow night...start time is 5:30. The girls will now play Calvary on 2-19, AT St. E...4:30 start.

The St. E "A" team finished in FIRST Place!! They defeated Iberia in the championship game, 200-150. The St. E "B" team finished in 3rd place! They defeated Vienna, 260-100 .

Archery shot at St. Thomas last night. Claire Gibson moved up to Tier 1 for State with a 286. She shot a 50 and got to sign the line. Sarah Kliethermes and Preston Plassmeyer qualified Tier 3.

**SPORTS UPDATE** The Iberia tournament wraps up tonight. The JV Hornets take on the Tuscumbia Lions at 4:00, for 7th place. The Varsity Hornets play for the championship at 8:30, taking on the Dixon Bulldogs. Go Hornets, bring home some hardware!!

What a nail-biter!! The battle continued in the 2nd half. The Lady Hornets handled the Lady Pirates pressure, and hit free throws down the line. The Lady Hornets defeated the Branson Lady Pirates 41-33. They advance to the championship game on Saturday night, 7 pm.
