Pumpkin carving in preschool!
Some loved playing with the seeds and "guts" of the pumpkin. Some did not. Our high school helpers did a great job helping carve!
The Jamestown Lady Eagles kept our batters off balance, but we managed to scrape 2 runs across the plate. The Lady Hornets win 2-0, and now move on to the district championship game on Monday, Oct. 20th, vs the Cairo-Glasgow winner.

Softball heads back to Glasgow for a District semifinal game against the Jamestown Lady Eagles, start time 5:00. Admission is cash only $6 for ages 6 and up. Vacant make it to the game, it will be streamed on MSHSAAtv, there is a cost to watch it.
The Lady Hornets only pushed 1 run across the plate in the first inning, but made up for it in the second inning. They plated 19 runs!! They defeated the Madison Lady Panthers, 20-0!! Next up Jamestown, 5:00 on Friday.

The juniors are selling 50/50 tickets to go with their fish fry. 1 ticket for $5 or 6 tickets for $25. The winner will be drawn at our fish fry November 7th. You do not have to be present to win.
We had some high school students attend HBA Build My Future Construction Career Day!
In case you were looking, the game was supposed to be streamed on MSHSAA TV… But they're having issues with it, so it will not be streamed tonight. They'll have it up and running tomorrow.

The Lady Hornets open up Districts today, in Glasgow. Game time is 7:00, but will most likely start later. Admission is $6, ages 6 and up. They will be taking cash at the gate, NO digital tickets. The softball field is at the high school-860 Randolph St, Glasgow
Tomorrow is the fundraiser pickup from 3:15-5:30 in the cafeteria. All money is due then. Please make checks payable to St. Elizabeth PTO.
Please do not park in front of the Community Center Tuesday & Wednesday. The Quilt Group will be in there on those days. Thank you!
The JV Lady Hornets had a slow first inning. They fought back, but came up just short. They lost to the JV Lady Lions of Crocker, 6-5.
It took a little while, but the Lady Hornets defeat the Crocker Lady Lions, 25-9. There were 4 home runs hit by the Lady Hornets - Reagan and Kinley did it the easy way, Charli and Allie had inside-the-park HRs!

Lady Hornets will play Wed., Oct 15th vs the Madison & Pilot Grove winner. Game time set for 7:00, possible it will start later than that.
The Lady Hornets just couldn't seem to get the hits to find the gaps. The lose to the Rolla Lady Bulldogs, 8-4.
The Lady Hornets score 3 in the first inning, but then the bats went silent. The Ozark Lady Tigers plated 2 on the fifth, 1 in the sixth, and 1 in the seventh to take the 4-3 victory from the Lady Hornets.
Next game will be at 2:00, Schuman Park.
**CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY**
*SB plays Ozark in the Rolla tourney at 10 am. They play at Schuman Park today. 404 E. 16th St., Rolla.
*BB plays Vienna, at Vienna, in the SMCC Conference Championship at 5 pm. No concessions will be available.
