The Nixa Lady Eagles scored the first 3 runs, but the Lady Hornets scored the next 14!! The Lady Hornets win, 14-4. They play at 10:00 am Saturday morning, in Rolla, at Ber Juan Field.










Learning all about Johnny Appleseed and how to cut apples in kindergarten also means a great treat--apple nachos! They were delicious! 😋 🍏 🍎








We have our first 3rd grader who has passed all her multiplication tests up to her 10s and mixed review! She earned her bracelet and a popsicle! I hear there will be more next week!

Thank you to St. Elizabeth Fire Department for talking to our PK-2nd graders about fire safety! Sadly, the rain didn't let us go see the fire truck, but we will be anxious to see it next year! 👨🚒







SMCC TOURNAMENT CHANGE
The Baseball Hornets will now play for the championship at 7:00 pm, tonight!

The Lady Hornets came ready to play. They defeat the Owensville Dutchgirls, 13-2, in the first round of the Rolla tournament. Next up, the Nixa Lady Eagles.










**ROLLA TOURNEY UPDATE**
The games for our pool have been moved to Owensville...we will play at 1:00 and 2:45. The softball field is located at Owensville high school.
With the potential incoming rain, there is a possibility that our pool will be moved to Owensville because they have turf. Depends on how much it rains. We will keep everyone updated!

*SB at Rolla Tourney. Owensville at 11:00, Nixa at 1:00. Games today will be played at Ber Juan Park, 1100 E. 18th St. Rolla, MO
*BB - plays in the SMCC championship game at Vienna tonight at 5:00.

Fundraiser pick up is October 15th!

Our Government class got real world experience today as they simulated groups going in front of a city council with proposals of how they would use grant money. Then the city council was able to ask questions and eventually decided who they would provide grant money to.

The JH Hornets had the offense and defense to defeat Fatima 42-23!










It was a tight game...the Lady Hornets never trailed in the game, but Linn Lady 'Cats kept putting on the pressure. The Lady Hornets get the win, 5-4







It was a tight game between the JH Lady Hornets and the Fatima Comets, but we were able to take the win, 35-24!

*SB vs Linn - H - 5:00, Varsity-only
*JHB vs Fatima - H - 5:00, there has been a change from the original plan. GIRLS will play first, then boys.

Mrs. Voss and 8 HS students enjoyed sketch day at the Capitol!  They competed against five other schools in our conference. Students had 3 hours to create observational sketches inspired by the scenes around them. It was a beautiful day to create art outside!
