The JV Hornets kept the pedal-to-the medal in the 2nd half. The defeat the JV Indians, 71-36. Way to go Hornets!

It's halftime in Springfield, Mo and the Hornets have a slim lead over South Iron, 19-18.






The Lady Hornets made a run of their own, but the Rolla Lady Bulldogs were just too much today. The Lady Bulldogs win, 56-39.









The Lady Hornets held a 19-15 lead, but then the Lady Bulldogs went on a 15-3 run to end the second quarter. At halftime, the Lady Bulldogs lead, 30-22.

The Eagles were just too much to handle this evening. The Eagles take the very last Show Me Conference matchup by a score of 79-55.









It's halftime in St.E. The visiting Eagles head into the locker room leading 44-29.





We have a full house tonight!! The theme for the night is "Frat Boys"...we think they pulled it off.



The second half was more of the first. The game went back and forth, and the JV Hornets defeat the JV Eagles, 45-43, on a fade-away by Cole Wilde, with 2 seconds left.








The Hornets host the Eugene Eagles tonight. The JV teams are in a battle. At halftime, the score is knotted at 13-13. And a big thank you to our officials tonight: Dan Mathes, Brock Van Loo, and Roger Bounds.











3rd grade is learning about how craters form in the moon. What happens when the asteroids hit the moon? Space debris falls onto the earth. They used whiffles balls and shaving cream to show and understand this process.









Basketball Games this weekend.
🏀December 15-Full JV and Varsity Boys at home at 6pm vs Eugene. SOTM recognition will be at halftime of the JV game.
✨December 16-Varsity Girls at Waynesville HS vs Rolla at 11am.
💥December 16-Varsity Boys at Springfield vs. South Iron at 10pm at Greenwood Laboratory School at MSU.


6th social studies has been learning about China, Japan and Korea. Today each student brought in a food dish from one of those countries. The food was delicious. They were very creative.








Today is the last day to register your basketball team for the Alumni Basketball Night on January 6th. Please email Mrs. Holtmeyer at kristen@ste.k12.mo.us if you want to put a team in.

It was a back-n-forth second half. Reagan Wobbe hit 4 free throws in the last 25 seconds to seal the 50-45 win for the Lady Hornets!!
